New Writing
Fifth Word is happy to accept examples of writing or full length plays from new writers to consider for future productions. Fifth Word is open to working alongside writers as part of the creative team, work-shopping ideas from the earliest stages and developing scripts as a collaborative process.
Fifth Word is interested in writers who have a story that they passionately want to tell and that can only be told through the unique power of theatre. We are always looking for original and powerful scripts which are thought provoking, engaging and relevant to a 21st century audience.
If you do have a script, a niggling idea that wont leave your head or a great story please get in contact with us.

Full length or one-acts are accepted
Cast sizes should be kept relatively small (e.g. under 6)
Please supply us with a hard copy sent to the postal address found on this site. (We regret we are unable to return these to you).

Work Placements
Fifth Word is looking for a placement student to join their creative team.
This is a unique opportunity to look behind the scenes of the day to day running of a theatre company and will assist in all of aspects arts management including: administration, research, marketing and education.
