Fifth Word is always looking to develop links with professionals working in theatre and other artists including:

Writers, directors, lighting technicians, set & costume designers, film makers, sound engineers, musicians and projection designers. Whether you are a professional or a recent graduate we would like to hear from you, just send us a recent copy of your CV or leave us a message on our message board.

New Writing

Fifth Word is happy to receive examples of writing or full length scripts from new writers to consider for future productions. Fifth Word is open to working alongside writers as part of the creative team, workshopping ideas from the earliest stages and developing scripts as a collaborative process.

Fifth Word is interested in writers who have a story that they passionately want to tell and that can only be told through the unique power of theatre.

We are always looking for original and powerful scripts which are thought provoking, engaging and relevant to a 21st century audience. If you do have a script, a niggling idea or a great story, please get in contact.

Notes for submission:

Full length or one-acts are accepted. Cast sizes should be kept relatively small (e.g. Under five). Please send a a hard copy to our postal address. Due to a high volume of submissions we regret we are unable to give individual feedback or return scripts to you.
