Fifth Word has worked alongside creative partnerships on a number of educational projects.
Creative Partnerships is a government- funded national initiative, established to develop schoolchildren’s potential, ambition, creativity and imagination.  It is not a funding body but builds sustainable partnerships that impact upon learning between schools, creative and cultural organisations and individuals.

www.derby.ac.uk - University of Derby
The theatre arts department have been very supportive of Fifth Word Theatre.  Fifth Word continues to sustain links with undergraduates/graduates for potential collaborations. Fifth Word also work alongside the education health and sciences department to deliver dance and drama workshops for PGCE students.

www.artscouncil.org.uk - Arts council
Arts Council for England is the national development agency for the arts in England, distributing public money from government and national lottery.  This site contains all the information required to apply for the Grants for the Arts scheme.

www.derby.gov.uk – Derby City Council Arts Development Team
This website contained an extensive list of council services in derby where Fifth Word Theatre is based.  Including community and living, education and learning and an arts development team page which provides information on arts and events that take place in derby.

www.equity.org.uk – Equity
Equity is the only trade union to represent artists from the entire spectrum of arts and entertainment.  Artistic Directors Laura Ford and Angharad Jones are both equity members.

Fifth Word is a member of ITC. The independent theatre council (ITC) is the UK’s leading management association for the performing arts, representing 690 organisations across the country
